The Best 2013 Security Suites

Many disparate components must thoroughly mesh together to make a security suite. Some suites are barely more than an antivirus plus firewall, while others include ever feature imaginable. In the very best suites, all components are equally effective, but a suite that's only good at a few security tasks can still be useful if its strong points match your needs. It's hard to believe, but the first 2014 suites have already been spotted. G Data's products all proudly include "2014" in their names, and Bitdefender's 2014 line will be out before long. Other vendors have completely dropped version and year numbers. Norton, Kaspersky, and SecureIT no longer use numbers; Comodo has dropped the year number from its free products. For now, we're appending "(2013)" to those product names, to distinguish the current review from older ones.
