Nvidia Releases WHQL Certified 327.23 Drivers

Nvidia GeForce GTX 780An "essential update for all GeForce GTX users," Nvidia says

This has been a good week for gamers. Intel, AMD, and now Nvidia have all released new graphics drivers, the latter of which is saying its GeForce 327.27 WHQL-certified drivers represent an "essential update" no matter which GeForce GTX GPU you own, as it delivers maximum stability and gets you ready for upcoming games like Batman: Arkham Origins. It's also the first WHQL-certified updated from Nvidia since July.
The new drivers offer up to a 19 percent performance boost for GeForce 400 through 700 Series GPUs in several PC games when compared to GeForce 320.49 drivers. Nvidia provided a few examples of its claimed performance gains:
  • Up to 15 percent in Dirt: Showdown (GeForce GTX 770)
  • Up to 6 percent in Tomb Raider (GeForce GTX 770)
  • UP to 19 percent in Dirt: Showdown (GeForce GTX 770 SLI)
  • Up to 11 percent in F1 2012 (GeForce GTX 770 SLI)
Nvidia's updated drivers also add an SLI profile to both Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Batman: Arkham Origins, enables GeForce to SHIELD streaming, add support for additional tiled 4K displays, add support for 4K FCAT testing, and extend support for tiled 4K features, among a few other changes.
You can download the update on Nvidia's drivers page.
